Northern Area Interclub Print Competition

The Northern Area Interclub Colour & Monochrome Print Competition between Alnwick, Amble, Ashington, Blyth, Cambois, Morpeth and Wooler was held on Thursday 16th October 2014.

This event was hosted by Wooler Camera Club and judged by Ron Bell of the Scottish Photographic Federation.

The winning club was Cambois for the second year running, with a top score of 215 points. In 2nd place was Ashington with 205 points, 3rd place was Morpeth with 196 points, 4th place was Alnwick with 195 points, 5th place was Blyth with 192 points, 6th place was Amble with 191 points and 7th place was Wooler with 178 points. Two prints gained the highest score of 30 points, the first, entitled ‘My Ball’ by Jane Coltman was part of Alnwick’s entry and the second, entitled ‘Resting Zebra’ by Eric Wilson was part of Cambois’ winning entry.

 

The event was well attended and the host club provided an excellent buffet afterwards. Thanks to the members of Wooler and Ron Bell for an entertaining and enjoyable evening.
